The sun lit each face that passed through the door. As they walked in they talked enthusiastically and welcomed all the unfamiliar faces with handshakes and smiles. Their best song leader led their best songs. The biggest name in the brotherhood preached a fine sermon at the gospel meeting on “Defending the Faith”. The building was sparkling and beautiful. The men wore their finest suits and the women their best dresses.
Jehovah looked down, and as he did, a tear fell silently to the ground. No one noticed…
